The City of Eugene Public Works Wastewater Division is recruiting for a Wastewater Facilities Program Manager. The department and the division have been recognized by our peers with numerous awards and certifications.
The Wastewater Facilities Program Manager performs a variety of administrative, managerial, and fiscal duties in support of the planning, design, construction, repair, and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant, biosolids management facility, seasonal industrial waste site, and pump stations.

A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Experience: Three years of responsible facilities management or architecture/engineering experience.
Training: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course in architecture, landscape architecture, work in civil engineering or a related field.
License & Certification: Possession of, or ability to obtain, and maintain an appropriate, valid Oregon driver's license.
Professional license in architecture, civil engineering, or related field desirable.
The City will consider any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, education, and experience to meet minimum qualifications. Examples of equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, education and experience are:
Experience: Five years of progressively responsible experience in commercial facilities management, operations and maintenance, general contracting, architecture, engineering, commercial construction general contractor or related field with at least on year of program management. Preferably in the public sector. Minimum one year of supervisory experience is preferred. Training: Equivalent to an Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course in public administration, architecture, engineering or related field. Degree in engineering preferred.
or - Seven years or more experience in construction/facility project management.
