Under the direction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations Assistant Division Manager of the Environmental Services Department, the WWTP Operation Supervisor oversees and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the City's wastewater treatment plants and associated State accredited permit compliance, including laboratory work. The individual in this role oversees, evaluates, and monitors the work of assigned staff; assigns tasks, provides feedback, coaches, evaluates, trains, and addresses performance issues as necessary. This person sets guidelines and procedures for plant operations on each shift and reviews, edits, and prepares standard operating procedures.This position works with other Department Divisions to recommend equipment modifications and renovation
